The Battle Lake Knowledge Bowl team traveled to Moorhead on Thursday for the big season-opening event at Concordia. The Battlers competed in the 29-team AA division. All four of the Battler teams finished in the top half, and the team of Connor Drake, Thomas Himmelspach, Jacob Hite, Brady Van Erp, and Brennan Amundson finished in first place, scoring over 100 points!
