The Battle Lake Mock Trial Team won all four of its regular season trials this year, defeating New York Mills, Tech High School, Denfield High School, and St. John's Prep (by forfeit). The team competes in the Regional Championship against Buffalo High School tomorrow, February 12th at the Otter Tail County Courthouse, with the winner advancing to the State Tournament.
The team attorneys are Riley Johnson, Nelson Hubert, and Graycie Cameron. The witnesses are portrayed by Madison Molter, Connor Wicklund, Khloe Brandner, Tegan Brandon, Carsten Brandon, and Jack Robinson. The timekeepers are Billy Bastyr and Elliot Heggem. Bailiffs are Nola Glocke and Oliver Fix, and the Courtroom Artist is Marley Kaste.
