The Battle Lake High School Mock Trial team won its Regional Championship trial against Buffalo High School by unanimous decision. The score of the trial was 357-331, with all three BL attorneys given perfect scores of 10 (Graycie Cameron, Nelson Hubert, & Riley Johnson). Hubert was awarded Best Attorney and Carsten Brandon was awarded Best Witness. The team now advances to the State Tournament, which will be held at the Federal Courthouse in Saint Paul on March 5-6, where they will compete against fifteen other teams from around the state.
