Students in grades 7-12 had an opportunity to visit over 30 booths exploring opportunities not only within our community but also outside of it. March 10 - 16 is National AmeriCorps Week. Battle Lake School would like to recognize Kristen Kaszynski and Cindy Johnson, ReadingCorps Tutors, for their outstanding service to the school. Kristen and Cindy work with students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade providing evidence-based interventions to help improve literacy skills. They are both passionate about making a difference in their students' lives. Thank you Cindy and Kristen for your valuable contributions to our school!
