Street Law students spent the week learning about Blood Spatter. Students performed labs that showed how a bloodstain analysts will seek to answer questions about the manner and sequence of events of a crime by examining the bloodstains left behind.

Minnesota Honors Society members spent the day volunteering at the Dorothy Day Food Pantry in Moorhead. They cleaned, stocked, rearranged, repackaged, and helped in every way they could. Dorothy Day is an incredible resource to those in need - we were so blessed to be here!
So much music has happened in the last week at Battle Lake School!
Band and Choir both hosted Large Group Contest, each earning Superiors, there was a Choir Concert on Monday evening, and guest artist, international guitarist Pavlo played at our school!

The BPA State Leadership Conference took place March 9-11 in Minneapolis. The 16 students competing represented Battle Lake School well, with 6 placing in multiple categories, bringing home 10 awards and 2 taking first place in the entire state! The following students now advance to the National Leadership Conference taking place in Anaheim, CA in April 2023: Morgan Malone, August Wicklund, and Izzy Brandborg.
