Based upon the Governor's Safe Learning Plan and taking into consideration our 4 priorities, Battle Lake will, at this point, be starting off the school year with an in-person learning model for ALL students. Under our model all students will attend in-person learning with additional safety measures in place which are above and beyond the Governor's Safe Learning Plan guidelines. Soccer Camp dates and times have been changed to the following: camp will run this week ONLY, Monday-Thursday, July 20-23. Grades 1-3 will meet from 6:00-7:30pm and Grades 4-7 will meet from 7:30-9:00pm. We appreciate your flexibility!

Summer Rec SCRIMMAGE against New York Mills in Battle Lake this Thursday, July 16. Girls PeeWees and Boys Mighty Mights start at 9:45am and Girls Midgets and Boys combined PeeWees/Midgets to follow. Tee and Toss ball practice as usual (no scrimmage). All students arrive 9:00am.

Independent School District #542, Battle Lake, Minnesota requests sealed bids for the sale of a 10’ X 10’ Utility Shed. Bids will be received up to 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2020 in the district office located at 402 Summit Street West, Battle Lake MN.

This is for the BLHS 2019-2020 seniors and juniors. The post prom committee has donated prizes for all seniors and juniors. The committee will be at the Sinclair gas station Friday June 12 from 1-4 for pick up. If you can not make it, your prize will be sent to you.

Battle Lake Public Schools will have an open School Board seat beginning July 1, 2020. If you are interested in serving on the School Board, please submit your letter of interest to School Board Chair Paul Ness via the schools address 402 Summit ST W Battle Lake, MN 56515 no later than July 3, 2020. The School Board will appoint one new member from the letters of interest they receive at their July 13th regular School Board meeting. This appointment is through December, the seat will be up for election in November to complete the remainder of the 2 year term.
